Dunstan Hospital is looking for a Service Administrator to Allied Health and District Nursing Services. Your daily support will involve processing referrals, making and confirming appointments for clients, managing diaries, compiling statistics, plus general administration tasks including reception / telephone answering.
This role will give you the opportunity to demonstrate your exceptional coordination skills, ability to work as an integral part of a wider administration team but also autonomously. You will also need to be adept at using your initiative to ensure tasks are brought to a conclusion as this is a demanding role with high level administration tasks. We can offer you a friendly supportive working environment with competitive remuneration. The salary range for this role is $57,000 - $63,000 per annum pro rata.
The hours and days of work (excluding public holidays) for the role are as follows:
Permanent Part Time : Monday to Friday; 8.30 am to 3.00 pm.
About You: we are looking for someone with:
A background in a varied administration position that exhibits your organisational ability, excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
A mature and flexible approach, a great communicator with the ability to build a good rapport with our staff and patients alike.
The ability to work cooperatively in a job share arrangement.
An interest in reviewing and developing service excellence initiatives.
Excellent problem solving skills teamed with high level computer skills which will include proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Teams and ideally patient management systems.
The highest standard of confidentiality, discretion and empathy are essential. Previous experience within the health care industry would be helpful but is not essential. Full training will be provided.
