Central Otago Health Services Limited – Dunstan Hospital

 

Central Otago Health Services Limited is recruiting for a Finance Officer to join our Finance Team based at Dunstan Hospital.  In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the processing of the monthly accounts payable, supporting with the monthly accounts receivable and assisting with other financial administration tasks.

 

We require someone who can work 0.4 to 0.5 FTE on a permanent basis, with flexibility of hours.  

 

This role will give you the opportunity to demonstrate your ability to work as an integral part of a wider finance team but also autonomously.  You will be required to use your initiative to improve processes and systems where possible and ensure tasks are completed.

 

The person we are seeking will have:

  • Accounts experience and exposure to Xero accounting would be desirable

  • Understand Accounts Payable process

  • Effective interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across organisational hierarchy

  • Attention to detail with good communication skills (verbal & written)

  • Flexible multi-tasker with effective organisational skills

  • Positive can-do attitude & strong customer focused approach
