About the Opportunity
Central Otago Health Services Limited has secured national Te Whatu Ora funding to pilot an initiative in our Hight Dependency Unit. We wish to implement a Clinical Pharmacist role to drive improved patient outcomes and we want you to implement MedChart.
You are an experienced Clinical Pharmacist looking for a short-term challenge in a community where you can really have influence. You will be the first and only pharmacist on the inpatient team, you will be comfortable in all aspects of medicines management, and you will have led successful projects

Dunstan Hospital is a 24-bed rural hospital located in Clyde, Central Otago, run by Central Otago Health Services Limited. Clinical services at Dunstan Hospital include acute 24-hour assessment, 24 bed inpatient acute, rehabilitation and palliative care, plus a 3-bed high dependency unit. Several outpatient services (including chemotherapy, endoscopy, and day surgery with Mobile Surgical Services) plus community services complete our offering.
You will join a well-established clinical team, Medical/Allied Health/Nursing, striving for excellence in rural health care with an emphasis on collegiality and adaptability. We are supported by Te Whatu Ora Southern and work closely with local General Practitioners to care for a community of >35,000+ people. Our hospital services a large area including Roxburgh, Alexandra, Cromwell, and Wanaka.
About the Offer
