Finance and IS Manager

Central Otago Health Services Limited – Dunstan Hospital

 

We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Finance and Information Systems Manager who wants to make a difference.  Based at Dunstan Hospital in Clyde, Central Otago, this is a full time position responsible for providing overall financial leadership for the company.  As a member of the Management Team, you will also be involved in developing and implementing the overall strategic direction of the business.  You will seek out health funding opportunities, be responsible for the financial accounting and reporting, and manage the finance, payroll, purchasing and HR team. You will also be responsible for facilities management at Dunstan Hospital and work closely with Te Whatu Ora - HNZ in this regard.

 

To be successful in this position you will:

 

  • be a qualified Accountant with more than five years financial and management experience, including team management

  • have excellent people skills with a proven ability to foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and staff

  • be a self starter with a strong desire to assist Management and the Board of Directors to make good decisions based on sound financial and business analysis

  • be a confident communicator, able to communicate complex issues in a clear, concise and persuasive manner
