Fundraising & Engagement Coordinator - Central Otago Health Services Limited

 

Health care needs are changing in Central Otago alongside our growing population.  We are responding to that change and are very excited to offer this new role. To assist with the development of a modern sustainable rural health service Dunstan Hospital, operated by Central Otago Health Services Ltd, would like to grow its donor and fundraising base.

 

You will be someone with the right skill set and experience in fundraising and caring for donors and will lead the fundraising drive alongside the CEO.

 

You will bring:

  • Experience in fundraising

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Energy and enthusiasm

  • An understanding of philanthropy and charitable endeavours 

  • An ability to build and manage a database of potential donors

  • An understanding of the not-for-profit environment

 

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Connect with the communities we serve

  • Build a fundraising pipeline annually and report on achievements

  • Manage the communication profile to align with the organisations vision and needs

  • Manage relationships with donors and funders to ensure lifelong commitment

  • Work outside normal business hours and travel to meet representatives

  • Speak publicly and with confidence

 

This is a part time position, and you can work from anywhere in Central Otago.
