Accounts Assistant - Permanent

Central Otago Health Services Limited is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team based at Dunstan Hospital.  In this role, you will be responsible for processing the monthly accounts payable, assist with the monthly accounts receivable and assist with the capturing of business statistics on an ongoing basis.

  

We require someone who is able to work 0.5 to 0.8 FTE on a permanent basis with flexibility of hours.  

This role will give you the opportunity to demonstrate your ability to work as an integral part of a wider finance team but also autonomously.  You will need to be adept at using your initiative to ensure tasks are brought to conclusion.

The person we are seeking will have:

  • Accounts experience and exposure to Xero accounting would be desirable

  • Understand Accounts Payable process

  • Effective interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across organisational hierarchy

  • Attention to detail with good communication skills (verbal & written)

  • Flexible multi-tasker with effective organisational skills

  • Positive can-do attitude, effective customer focused approach and team player
