PAYROLL/HR ADMINISTRATOR

 

Dunstan Hospital is looking for a Payroll/HR Administrator to join our Finance Team.  In this role, you will be responsible for processing fortnightly payroll for our staff and assisting our management team with the timely preparation and processing of employment contracts, general HR admin and recruitment duties, together with various HR projects and initiatives.

 

This role will give you the opportunity to demonstrate your exceptional coordination skills, ability to work as an integral part of a wider finance team but also autonomously.  You will also need to be adept at using your initiative to ensure tasks are brought to a conclusion.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Recent Payroll/Accounting experience, with exposure to Xero accounting, and MYOB EXO payroll would be desirable

  • Experience in an HR Administration/Coordinator role

  • Have a good understanding of HR processes, policy and New Zealand employment legislation

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across organisational hierarchy

  • Attention to detail with excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

  • Flexible multi-tasker with strong organisational skills

  • Positive can-do attitude & strong customer focused approach

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective management of the fortnightly Payroll process

  • Ensuring compliance of employment legislation & maintaining accurate employee records

  • Providing HR Administration & support to leaders within the organisation

  • Assisting with Onboarding Induction, Company Orientation & other HR initiatives

  • Complete, accurate and timely reports and financial information

  • Supporting the team to deliver excellent customer service and advice
