Allied Health Services Leader (0.60 FTE)

Central Otago Health Services Ltd / Dunstan Hospital, Central Otago

 

We are seeking an energetic and adaptable permanent part time (0.60 FTE) Allied Health Services Leader.  Based at Dunstan Hospital in Clyde, Central Otago, this position reports to the Allied Health Director and is responsible for providing operational leadership and coordination of the Allied Health Services, including, human resource management, quality and risk management, people and team development, and supporting service delivery improvements and model of care changes. 

 

The Allied Health Service Leader is responsible for the Kaiawhina, Clinical Needs Assessment, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, and Speech Language Therapy services.

 

To be successful in this position you will:

  • Be a registered Health Professional.

  • Be knowledgeable of professional Allied Health practice issues.

  • Have strong operational leadership skills within clinical services.

  • Be people focused with skills in developing high functioning teams.

  • Be an excellent active listener with the ability to articulate messages to a variety of audiences.

  • Able to work collaboratively with all clinical disciplines.

 

The successful applicant will also be required to have competent computer skills and a current driving licence.

 

The salary for this role will be $119,000 - $124,000 per annum pro rata, depending on experience
