Allied Health Assistant
Permanent Full-Time Position (1.0 FTE) 
Dunstan Hospital, Central Otago

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Allied Health Assistant team. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work alongside 

our Allied Health team (Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Therapists and other disciplines) to support

therapeutic programmes, manage equipment and assist with the daily running of our busy service at Dunstan Hospital and in the

wider Central Otago community.

 

Ongoing training will be provided to ensure you develop the skills to deliver therapeutic programmes and services under the delegation of a therapist. The aim is to assist patients with improving and maintaining a level of independence in their home environment.

 

If you are a motivated, enthusiastic, caring person who enjoys being part of a team and working with people, then this rewarding

role is for you. We need applicants to be physically fit, hold a full driver’s license and have an appropriate level of skill using 

information technology.

 

Applicants for this position must be a NZ resident or have a valid NZ work visa.
